Supporting seagrass work in Wales

The National Seagrass Action Plan (NSAP) only succeeds through collaborative and cooperative action. Whether you're an individual, a group or an organisation, here are just some options for how you can directly support our aspiration to halt seagrass loss by 2030 and double it's extent by 2050. 

If you're an individual wondering how you can get involved with Seagrass in Wales, here are some things you ight want to consider:

Seagrass Spotter - We need to know where seagrass is. We know where some of it is but with over 1600 miles of coastline in Wales, we need help. Seagrass spotter in an easy to use app that you can use every time you're at the coast. You can record both absence and presence sightings and automatically contribute to the growing database of sightings.
Volunteering - The Seagrass Network Cymru has a continually growing membership. Many of our member organisation need additional help with some of their activities, so why not check out our list of network members and reach out to the one closest to you to see if you can help?  Alternatively you could contact Project Seagrass to register your interest in becoming a volunteer.
